“A home for everyone, redevelopment of outskirts, sustainable mobility and “green” approach”: those are pillars on which should base the growth of Milan to become a “smart city” in the coming years, according to the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala. The theme was at the center of the conference “L’architettura e il futuro di Milano”, hosted at the Triennale in occasion of Arch Week. In conversation with Sala on the future of the city, there were also the Dean of Politecnico di Milano, Ferruccio Resta, and the at director of the Milano Arch Week, Stefano Boeri. urban development is a topic that already touches the Milanese agenda, from popular houses to abandoned railyards, from collaboration with universities to technological innovation.
