On Thursday, July 5th, Stefano Boeri will be guest at the press conference of the exhibition entitled “All Ponti, Gio Ponti archi-designer”, the great retrospective on the master at the Musée Des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, promoted by Molteni & C, in collaboration with “Gio Ponti Archives”.
The exhibition curated by Olivier Gabet, Dominique Forest, Sophie Bouilhet-Dumas and Salvatore Licitra, and set up in an iconic space on Rue de Rivoli, will be open to public from October 19, 2018 to February 10, 2019. The exhibition traces the long career of the Master, from 1921 to 1978, highlighting all aspects of his work through more than 500 pieces, some exhibited for the first time – architecture, furniture, ceramics, lamps, glass, magazines – in an installation by the Wilmotte & Associés studio and the graphic project by Italo Lupi for signage. The BETC agency deals with the graphic design of communication documents. Molteni & C (a company part of the Molteni Group, together with Dada, Unifor and Citterio) that since 2010 has renewed its attention for the masters of architecture and design with the re-edition of Gio Ponti’s furnishings, has decided to support this exhibition , the only exhibition ever made in France on the master’s work. A confirmation of the rediscovery of Gio Ponti’s projects, which Molteni & C continues to pursue as a contribution to the enhancement of the protagonists of the history of Italian design on the international scene.
