On March 31, 2022, Stefano Boeri presented the preliminary project of the Coastal Masterplan for South Salerno, at the Tabacchificio ex SAIM of Capaccio Paestum.
The Masterplan foresees the intervention on 8 municipalities (Salerno, Pontecagnano-Faiano, Bellizzi, Battipaglia, Eboli, Capaccio-Paestum, Agropoli and Castellabate), on a total of 478 square kilometers, in a territory characterized by a strong historical and naturalistic imprint thanks to the presence of archaeological sites.
The meeting was attended by Bruno Discepolo (Councilor for the Government of the Territory of the Campania Region), Franco Alfieri (the Delegate of the President of the Regional Council for the Masterplan), and mayors of the target area (Agropoli, Bellizzi, Battipaglia, Capaccio Paestum, Castellabate, Eboli, Pontecagnano Faiano, Salerno), the representatives of the Province of Salerno.
