Spazi per un’idea – L’area dell’istituto Padre Minozzi di Amatrice, edited by Paola Refice (Superintendent of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Frosinone, Latina and Rieti) and Daniele Carfagna, recounts the memory and reconstruction of Amatrice after the traumatic earthquake that struck the city in 2016. Stefano Boeri Architetti contributed to the volume with a text on the House of the Future project: conceived together with the Laudato Si’ and Slow Food communities, the project envisages the reconstruction of the Don Minozzi Complex, destroyed by the earthquake, with the aim of giving new life to the educational and inclusive functions that characterised the original building.
