The new Masterplan of Genoa pivots upon two main goals: first, to increase and improve the port activities providing the site with new areas, services and infrastructures; second, to redefine the relationship between the port and the historical city. A set of areas currently inaccessible, are re-introduced in the system of urban spaces by improving the infrastructural network.
A series of new urban programs will be carried out in these areas, in order to recreate a cohabitation between the port and the city.
