On the website of the Word Economic Forum, a non-profit foundation that brings together leading political, business and cultural leaders to define global agendas with the aim of improving living conditions on the planet, the BiodiverCities 2030 initiative is given space. The goal is to create, by 2030, cities that are connected to living nature and climate resilient, in which every urban activity leaves the Earth enriched and not impoverished.
As a symbolic image, chosen to represent these values, on the landing page stands out the Bosco Verticale in Milan, designed by Boeri Studio (Stefano Boeri, Gianandrea Barreca, Giovanni La Varra) as a prototype of a new architecture of biodiversity.
