The French magazine Up dedicates an article to low-emission architecture integrated with living nature.
The article reflects on the condition of the city and its future prospects, linked to CO2 consumption and population growth. In this context, a new form of architecture is needed, one that is energy self-sufficient and aimed at increasing biodiversity. A virtuous example of this approach is the Cancun Smart Forest City, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti to accommodate 130,000 inhabitants in a metropolitan area with 362 hectares of vegetation and 120,000 plants belonging to 350 different species.
