South China Morning Post publishes an article about how the visionary architects use the balconies to change the high-rise lifestyle of cities.
Vertical Forest in Milan is a prototype of sustainable residential building for the regeneration of the environment, reversing the climate change through building a micro-climate and filtrating dust particles in the urban environment.
The balconies of the green towers are filled with trees and shrubs, creating a habitat developing year by year and changing through the seasons.
In the last years, the concept of Vertical Forest is spreading all around the world. Stefano Boeri Architetti is currently developing such buildings in Nanjing, Paris, Utrecht, Lausanne and Eindhoven.
