Stefano Boeri Architetti and Massimo Giuliani win the competition for the realization of the new Local Plan of Sarzana (PUC), the urban tool which regulates the transformation and development of the ligurian town in the next years.
Yesterday the architects Stefano Boeri and Massimo Giuliani, the Mayor and the entire Town Council which together underlined their enthusiasm in undertaking a path of regeneration and development of their territory: from recovering the existing heritage to the focuses on environment, territory, urban attractiveness and mobility.
As declared by the two architects «We are both students of Giancarlo De Carlo which made the Plan in 1966 and this fact make us excited. Basically we will start with a detailed analysis of Sarzana, with the collaboration of the citizen which will be calles to intervein in the round tables that we will organize according to other cities experiences, as we recently did in Ivrea. It won’t be missed to talk about themes as the hydrogeological and seismic safety, or the challenge of the coast which has to be reformulated».
The project will start from the table of the ideas, intended as a shared place to identificate transformation tools to serve the families and the new generations; an operational strategy of participation inherited by the Mster De Carlo.
