Much loved by Italian designers, the Dutch urban reality was reborn from the heavy Philips crisis of 1900 and nowadays presents itself to the contemporary world with creativity and innovative architecture, such as the Trudo Vertical Forest by Stefano Boeri Architetti.
A Vertical Forest under construction, intended for social housing. A 75-meter skyscraper with nineteen floors of apartments with controlled rents and a high percentage of greenery: for each housing unit of 50 square meters, a 4 square meter terrace with a tree and 20 bushes. A real ecosystem with over 70 different plant species, capable of absorbing more than 50 tons of CO2 a year, fighting pollution and climate change.
