On Il Mattino, an article by Claudio Malfitano introduces the new book by Roberto Bernabò (Deputy Director of Sole24Ore), which presents the best contemporary urban practices in Italy. Among these, the Padua Intervention Plan, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti (SBA) and MATE Società operativa, is mentioned.
The plan designed by SBA proposes a vision of an “archipelago city” where the key element is the rione (the neighbourhood), and its “sea” is represented by the green system and the public mobility. Presented in November 2021, it was adopted in April 2022 and is now under approval.
