On the December issue of GQ, an interview of Stefano Boeri, following the inauguration of the new Appulo Lucane Railway Station of Matera: an architecture made of stone and steel, surmounted by a large shelter covered by 696 photovoltaic panels able to supply sufficient energy to the station itself, to the square and to the surrounding park.
A design carried out in contact with the local territory – with its historical and cultural dynamics composed of memory and material – aimed at generating a recognizable landmark for citizenship able to bring back value to the architecture seen as a vision aimed at enlightening both the future and the past of a place.
