Winy Maas dedicates Domus last number to the relation between the natural element and the built environment, a key relation to reimagine helthier and more resilient cities, able to tackle climate change’s effects.
The issue presents a serie of case studies from all around the globe on the design, the architectural and the urban scale and report on the Vertical Forest that, as one of the first projects of this kind, has been subjected to greenwashing and skepticisms. A normal resistance for a new project of this typology that in this case doesn’t follow the market but the real need of more environmentally sustainable cities.
