BBC Travel, publishes Stefano Boeri‘s report on its innovative project, the Vertical Forest, is a model for a sustainable residential building, a project for metropolitan reforestation contributing to the regeneration of the environment and urban biodiversity to the vegetal system of the Vertical Forest contributes to the construction of a microclimate, produces humidity, absorbs CO2 and dust particles and produces oxygen. Around this green building has developed and will grow an even greater similar reality; in 2018, 95,000 meters of trees, will cover the entire area around the Vertical Forest, it will become the third largest park in Milan, called the Library of Trees. Urban creativity is also present in Milanese and creative entrepreneurs, an example is Cesare Battisti, owner of the Ratanà Restaurant at the foot of the building, always at the forefront of urban sustainability.
