The first Vertical Forest in Asia, in the city of Nanjing in China, designed by Stefano Boeri creator of the Vertical Forest of Milan.
The aim of the project is to reduce CO2 emissions, to try to decrease China’s highest levels of pollution, creating new habitat and sources of livelihood for birds and insects.
Other cities as Guizhou, Liuzhou and Chongqing, to follow the example of Nanjing, rely on the architect Boeri. An even more ambitious project is Forest City, conceived for Shijiazhuang, a city as model for sustainable growth.
