On ArchDaily Brazil a collection of architectural projects conceived and designed to host medium and large trees and plant species on the facade and on balconies or loggias. A technological, material and structural research, aimed at enhancing the private open spaces directly connected to the domestic dimension with green elements, to make the external areas within densely inhabited cities even more liveable. Microcosms dedicated to exchange, protest or celebration, contemplation of the urban environment or as a place for reflection and rest that improve the quality of life of users.
The collection includes the Vertical Forest of Milan, designed by taking into consideration the trees as main inhabitants of the space and protagonists of an architecture proposed in different parts of the world. Made unique thanks to the choice of tree essences, carried out ad hoc as the variation of the environment and the climate in which architecture is inserted, Stefano Boeri Architetti also designed the Trudo Vertical Forest, the Vertical Forest of Tirana, Wonderwoods and the Vertical Forest of Nanjing.
