Stefano Boeri designed in the Porta Nuova district the two towers of the Vertical Forest in Milan, two buildings covered by more than 20,000 plants and trees, the equivalent of two hectares of wood on two buildings: the two towers were emulated and their concept will be exported all over the world, from the Netherlands to China.Vertical Forest is a model of vertical densification of nature within the city that operates in relation to policies for reforestation and naturalization of large urban and metropolitan borders.
