AD unveils the AD100 list for 2025, celebrating the 100 most influential designers and studios on the international stage, featuring Stefano Boeri Architetti.
Each year, AD curates a selection of architects, designers, and interior decorators, showcasing their groundbreaking ideas shaping the creative landscape of the year. Among the prominent Italian names in 2025 are luminaries such as Giorgio Armani, an undisputed icon of global fashion and design, and Renzo Piano. The list also includes renowned studios such as ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, Mario Cucinella Architects, Michele De Lucchi, Piero Lissoni, Park Associati, Flaviano Caprotti, Luca Cipelletti, Patricia Urquiola, FormaFantasma, and Draga & Aurel.
Since 1993, Stefano Boeri Architetti has stood out for its approach combining architecture, urban planning, and design, with a particular focus on the geopolitical and environmental implications of urban phenomena. The studio has developed a well-defined identity, becoming a benchmark for sustainable architecture and strategic planning at various scales, both in Italy and internationally.
The studio’s design philosophy is showcased in the volume Green Obsession: Trees Towards Cities, Humans Towards Forests (Actar, 2021), which was recognized in 2023 by the United Nations with the UN SDGs Action Award in the “Inspire” category. This award highlights its ability to design cities that promote health, well-being, and climate action in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
