Paola Carimati includes the book Boeri/Gitai – A Private Glossary, published by Rizzoli, in the selection of volumes on the world of design in the Salone del Mobile di Milano’s editorial.
In this book, Stefano Boeri and Amos Gitai, whose training and careers are rooted in architecture, cinema and thinking about space, revive the threads of a dialogue that began in 2017 and has been consolidated over the years, as they tackle subjects that are close to their hearts.
The result is an intimate and enlightening glossary that traces the lives of the two authors, intertwined and connected by personal and professional experiences, trajectories of cultural interests and a long friendship, creating a ‘regenerative dialogue’.
The book is a mosaic of themes from yesterday and today, always topical, that run through the lives of the protagonists: a plunge into experience that responds to the urgency of both to condense visions on the contemporary geopolitical situation. Under the heading ‘Solid Sea’, the Mediterranean with all its stories, Multiplicity’s experience: ‘Mediterranean houses are like films. And, like their cities, they are by nature open to the unpredictability of the flow of life,’ writes Paola Carimati.
