According to the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) valid from May 25 2018, we hereby inform you that you are receiving our press releases because you have been included in a special list, that we use only to send to our contacts news about our projects, activities and events.
You are part of this list because your data are in the list of specialized journalists provided to us by Mediadata S.r.l., a company settled in Milan, Italy, Via Campagnoni 30, with which we have entered into a license agreement for the use of databases and press release management software.

The Data we process in order to send our press releases are just your name and surname, name of the editorial staff, the role of the Journalist within the editorial staff, your areas of competence / interest, in the last few journalist sessions, the email address of your editorial office and your editorial telephone number, and social media addresses. This would enable us to personalize our email.
Data processing legal base and purpose
The processing of your data for the purpose of sending our press releases is based on our legitimate interest to ensure a correct communication and to promote the company image.
Since this type of processing does not require your express consent, we have carefully considered that our legitimate interest (related to the purpose of corretc communicatione promoting our business) is always balanced and does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Mediaddress is a press release distribution platform owned by Mediadata S.r.l., settled in Milan, Via Compagnoni 30.
Your email addresses and the further details we described in this information are stored on the Mediaddress servers to allow Mediadderess to spread our press release more quickly and in a more personalized way.
Mediaddress can by its own admission also use this data to enhance or improve its own services, e.g. to technically enhance the dispatch procedure or for commercial purposes to be able to determine which countries the recipients are from.

The email service provider Mediaddress is used, the statistical surveys and analyses are performed and the registration procedure is recorded based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6, Paragraph 1, letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Statistical surveys and analyses
Our emails contain a “web beacon”, i.e. a pixel-size file that is retrieved from the Mediaddress server whenever you open our emails.
This means that, when you receive our email, technical information, such as information on the browser and your system as well as your IP address and the time of retrieval will be retrieved.
This information is only used to make technical improvements to services and may be assigned to individual press release recipients for technical reasons only.
The statistical survey permits us to know whether the email have been opened, when they have been opened and which links have been clicked on.

There are instances where we lead our email recipients to the Mediaddress web pages, e.g. whether email recipients desire to correct his data or consulting Mediaddress Privacy Policy which can only be accessed on its web site.

Termination and Revocation of consent
You may ask to be deleted from our list at any time. This means you also don’t consent to the distribution of our email via Mediaddress and the statistical analyses. It is not possible to cancel the distribution via Mediaddress and the statistical evaluation separately.
