On the occasion of the first World Forum of Urban Forests, Stefano Boeri reflects on San Marino, urban planning and hydrogeological risk.
As Stefano Boeri Architetti proposed in San Marino master plan, in order to resolve the security issue of territory, we should imagine in the future that each urban planning and territorial plan has at it’s base at study of hydrogeological risks.
This is one of the reasons to come to Mantua to the World Forum on Urban Forests, where on November 28th, together with FAO and Politecnico di Milano, 91 countries from all over the world will discuss how forestry policies can improve and secure fragile territories.
