From the 16th to the 25th of June, the second edition of Un mare di discorsi, meetings in the Cinque Terre dedicated to popularisation, music, sport, literature and debates on sustainability and climate change, featuring Stefano Boeri, is held.
Un mare di discorsi, whose artistic director is Dario Vergassola, includes six evenings with free admission in the municipalities of Riomaggiore and Vernazza, featuring speakers from various cultural worlds, with the aim of giving quality to the events while always respecting the natural setting that hosts them.
On Saturday 23 June at 9 p.m. in Corniglia, Stefano Boeri is interviewed by Dario Vergassola about sustainability in the world of architecture, from the Bosco Verticale to the future projects of the Stefano Boeri Architetti studio, emphasising how the need to forestate cities, to integrate trees into the urban environment, is an urgent necessity and the only sustainable way to reverse the consequences of climate change.
Also speaking at the event is Guido Catalano, contemporary poet, who presents his latest book of poems “Smettere di fumare baciando” published by Rizzoli.
