From Friday October 20th to Sunday October 22nd, Tre giorni per il Giardino (Three Days for the Garden), an event organised by FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano), is held at the Castle and Park of Masino (TO), with the participation of Sara Gangemi, Senior Landscape Architect at Stefano Boeri Architetti, with a remote introduction by Stefano Boeri.
The event has as its main theme the role of trees for life on the planet, and addresses the issues and techniques of plant cultivation and maintenance, the countless benefits that trees have on the “unique health” (human, animal and environmental) and the psyche, and concludes with some virtuous examples of tree-man-city relations.
In this context, on Saturday 21 at 12 noon, the presentation Verso la Forestazione Urbana, Spazi e visioni per una convivenza biologica, sociale e culturale (Towards Urban Forestry, Spaces and Visions for Biological, Social and Cultural Coexistence) is held, introduced by Stefano Boeri – from the World Forum on Urban Forests (WFUF2023) in Washington D.C., in which Stefano Boeri Architetti is a technical partner – in which Sara Gangemi presents some of the projects of the Stefano Boeri Architetti studio in which the integration between the natural and human spheres is considered the starting point for architectural design.
