The Trudo Vertical Forest is the star of a very special piece of fabric: the Eindhoven Vertical Forest can be found on the curtains specially made for the residential palace of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima.
The Dutch Queen Maxima opened an exhibition entitled ‘Royal Embroidery: Stitches and Stories’ at the Textiel Museum in Tilburg, where the new curtains, embroidered at the TextielLab, will be on display until the end of May.
The new curtains are a remake of the 18th century silk curtains of the Chinese Hall of the Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague. The historical curtains were made in Canton, China.
