On Wednesday October 4th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Politecnico di Milano the event Sustainable Concrete Futures, organised by POLI.design and Heidelberg Materials, sees the participation of Paolo Russo, project leader of Stefano Boeri Architetti.
The programme includes an introduction, with presentations by POLI.design (Anna Barbara-President POLI.design) and Italcementi – Heidelberg Materials (Dante Parisi – Eco Brand Manager Italcementi Spa), followed, at 10.30 am, by the Sustainable Futures meeting, where designers and experts talk about their projects and respective work experiences.
Participants include Paolo Russo – Stefano Boeri Architetti, who presents the studio’s work and philosophy, which aims at urban forestation and integrating living nature as the protagonist of architectural design.
Other participants include: Euromilano – Francesca Di Lalla; Avanzi – Matteo Bartolomeo; Land – Andreas Kipar; Partner DC10 – Giorgio Piliego; Balance – Alberto Lessan.
The event concludes, from 2 p.m., with Breathing cities, which includes the presentation of the eco.build project: Italcementi and Calcestruzzi sustainable solutions with a focus on draining concrete (Dante Parisi – Eco Brand Manager Italcementi Spa and Sergio Tortelli – Sustainable Solution Manager Calcestruzzi Spa); and discussions with other professionals, including Lombardini 22 – Elena Stoppioni; PIUarch – Monica Tricario; Femia e Associati – Fabio Marchiori; F&M Ingegneria – Gisella Rizzi.
