Saturday, October 26th Stefano Boeri Architetti brings the Green Obsession marathon to Dutch Design Week, an event built to imagine a different balance between the human species and nature, laying the foundations for a new society and new geo-political practices.
Together with Alice Rawsthorn, Studio Drift and Jalila Essaïdi, Stefano Boeri Architetti is one of the four ambassadors at the edition of DDW 2019, the largest international design event in Northern Europe that takes place from 19 to 27 October. The event originates from the question If not now, then when?, in order to investigate the important role of design and experimentation in the exploration of innovative solutions capable of facing serious global problems.
Green Obsession aims to give voice to the architectural and urban area, exploring topics such as Urban Forestry, regenerative development and the role of public space in the existing urban environment, involving professionals, researchers and policy makers on the DDW stage.
Talking about landscape and the relationship the green urban space, alongside Stefano Boeri: Petra Blaisse, Emanuele Coccia, Anne Katherine Esbjerg, Gabriele Manoli, Arbajan Mazniku, Piero Pelizzaro and Xandra van der Eijk.
The format of the Green Obsession Talk allows various professional figures to discuss common themes and bring different points of view in an interdisciplinary dialogue between innovation and culture, art and design, architecture and urban planning.
The Green Obsession Talk takes place at the NatLab, Kastanjelaan 500, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm on Saturday 26 October 2019.
