28.09.2021 – 28.09.2022. The Palazzo Verde in Antwerp celebrates its 1st anniversary.
The new landmark in the Nieuw Zuid district declines the Vertical Forest prototype in a strategic neighbourhood for the development of the city. With its 86 trees, 1,000 shrubs and 1,200 plants on loggias and communal terraces, the Palazzo Verde demonstrates how the incorporation of greenery and nature into architecture is not the exclusive prerogative of skyscrapers or luxury buildings, but rather an extremely flexible and adaptable way of generating different original architectural configurations based on the specificities of the context, functions and local needs.
