On Monday, April 17, from 4 to 5 p.m., at Fondazione Ferre, Via Tortona 37, Milan, is held a roundtable discussion of the joint New European Bauhaus DESIRE project, a continuation of the launch of the whitepaper “Designing the Irresistible Circular Society” by HRH Princess Mary of Denmark, featuring a talk by Stefano Boeri.
Part of Milan Design Week, the panel discussion, in continuity with the themes of DESIRE, highlights and focuses on the key challenges and key actions to be implemented to have sustainable urban development. The event aims to foment virtuous collaboration between Denmark and Italy, so as to build relationships that can lead to future cooperation.
The main themes that the panel discussion will focus on are: transforming through symbiotic relationships; reconciling cities with nature; and creating social and inclusive housing and communities. Stefano Boeri‘s talk will focus in particular on the convergence of goals related to environmental sustainability and public health, with reference to the themes and projects of Stefano Boeri Architetti , published in the recently published Green Obsession, Trees Towards Cities, Humans Towards Forests (ed. Actar, 2022), which traces the long path that Stefano Boeri Architetti (SBA) has followed over the past fifteen years of activity, aiming to redefine the relationship between cities and nature.
