From March 14th to 27th, the Milan Longevity Summit takes place in Milan, an event attended by Stefano Boeri and bringing together the most important global figures knowledgeable in longevity, urban design, and health.
The event focuses on the ongoing demographic shift and the possibility of a longer, healthier life, discussing how science will prolong our lives and how it will change social organization, work, the economy, and urban planning.
In particular, on March 25th, organized by the SoLongevity Foundation, under the title “Living Longevity: From the Frontiers of Science to Everyday Life,” the new frontiers opened by the science of longevity are discussed: in cities, in the workplace, in precision and gender medicine. At 9:30 am, Stefano Boeri speaks, with a presentation titled “A New Concept of the City,” focusing on the socio-demographic challenges of urban design, starting from the projects of Stefano Boeri Architetti.
Subsequently, Stefano Boeri participates in the round table “Cities of Longevity: International Experiences” alongside Giorgio Gori, Mayor of Bergamo; Josep Bohigas, Former Director of the Regional Agency of Barcelona, co-founder of the Urban Front Agency; Lars Hartenstein, Co-leader of the McKinsey Health Institute, Geneva; Pierfrancesco Maran, Councillor for Housing and Neighborhood Planning – Municipality of Milan; François Sarkozy, President of FSNB Health & Care.
