On Thursday, January 25th, in Florence from 6 pm at Le Murate (Progetti Arte Contemporanea) will be held the event The Night of Ideas focused on the theme “Power to the imagination?”. Guests from different backgrounds, intellectuals, researchers, artists and contemporary personalities will gather to discuss the theme all across the five continents.
Stefano Boeri will take part at the dialogue with Jean-Louis Missika (Member of the Council and Vice Mayor of Paris, responsible for urban planning, architecture, projects of Grand Paris and economic development) and Riccardo Chesta (Researcher in “Political and Social Sciences” at the European University Institute in Florence).
The Night of Ideas (Florence, January 25th and Milan, January 26th) is promoted by the French Embassy and the Institut Français Italia to encourage the circulation of ideas among countries, cultures and generations. The 2018 is to become a season of Franco-Italian dialogues aimed to involve cultural and educational institution to develop their own program on the great challenges of today, expressed also at the last Franco-Italian summit in Lyon: fight against climate change, integration and European citizenship, city of the future, biodiversity, heritage, innovation. The event will be an opportunity to share ideas, to learn and to chat, exploring in another way the places where ideas come alive.
