The presentation of the implementation plan for the reconstruction of Arquata del Tronto at the City Council will be held on Monday 9th May at 5 pm. The Plan, projected by Stefano Boeri Architetti, MATE soc. Cooperative together with Nhazca, PRO.GE. 77 and D.R.E.Am. Italy, is presented by Raffaele Gerometta (MATE Soc. Cooperativa) and Stefano Boeri by videolink, in the presence of Michele Franchi (Mayor of the Municipality of Arquata del Tronto) and Giovanni Legnini (Extraordinary Commissioner of the Government for the 2016 earthquake reconstruction).
The reconstruction project of Arquata del Tronto involves 7 hamlets, for a total of 100kmq, was developed following the guidelines shared with the local communities, starting from a comparison with the local population aimed at identifying the problems, the criticalities and the different intervention scenarios, in relation to the morphology and intended use.
