HeriTACT introduces innovative and inclusive architectural and design solutions to support environmental and cultural sustainability and the strengthening of cultural industries through community awareness and policy-making in European urban areas of different scales and cultural settings.
The project methodology enables citizens and organisations to imagine, plan and negotiate the shape and use of public spaces and regenerate urban environments. The proposed methodology and activities aim to achieve the ambitious New European Bauhaus goals of connecting the European Green Deal in a creative and interdisciplinary way.
The event explores these themes by investigating and comparing a number of experiences gained by public bodies, the third sector, foundations and enterprises engaged in various capacities in the enhancement of historic farmsteads and rural contexts.
The event includes working tables, to support the transversality and transdisciplinary nature of the NEB’s typical approach, coordinated by the LAND studio, with an introduction by Elena Grandi – Councillor for the Environment and Green Areas, Municipality of Milan; Ilaria Giuliani – Director of the Urban Resilience Project, Municipality of Milan.
