From September 23 to 26, the Future Green City World Congress takes place in Utrecht, focusing on sustainable design through a series of workshops, film screenings, presentations, and field trips, with the participation of Stefano Boeri Architetti.
On the second day, there will be a workshop titled Wonderwoods, the Vertical Forest of Utrecht. Bring Vertical Forests to Cities All Around the World, where speakers Lars van Ginkel (Veenendaal/Netherlands) and Johan van den Berk (Van den Berk Nurseries) will present Stefano Boeri Architetti’s project for Wonderwoods Vertical Forest, followed by a site visit. Wonderwoods encompasses all aspects of life in a vibrant commercial district: living, working, and leisure. The workshop will explore space, cities, forests, and buildings from a new perspective. How is it possible to build a vertical forest, and what would it look like in your city?
