During the last Milan Design Week the 3M Design team collaborated with Stefano Boeri Architetti to create “Urban Tree Lounge”. It was more than a little nod to the importance that trees have played in Boeri’s work, with a decidedly urban edge. The “trees” were created using 3M films, nonwovens, and adhesives, which created a kaleidoscope of dancing light.
In this interview, Boeri starts from the “Urban Tree Lounge”, coming to his vision of architecture and design.
