From the 11th to 13th of July, the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union is organising a conference in Barcelona entitled Cultural and creative industries (CCi’s), cities and citizens fostering sustainable development and well-being, to reflect on how to improve people’s quality of life by creating solutions through culture and science, attended by Stefano Boeri.
The event, organised by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), in collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport, showcases, in an interactive and participatory way, European projects and initiatives from the cultural and creative industries that are not only innovative and sustainable, but also accessible, affordable, socially engaged and enriching for all, in line with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative.
On Wednesday July 12th at 3.30 p.m., Stefano Boeri participates with an online talk entitled Towards climate neutrality, showcasing the projects and architectural techniques that Stefano Boeri Architetti’s office is implementing to counter the challenges of global warming, towards climate adaptation.
Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) are at the heart of the creative economy, as they ensure the continuous development of societies and are a powerful vector for the creation of competitiveness, cultural wealth, innovation and employment.
