The revolution of dismissed railway yards starts with the immense lawn in the middle of skyscraper jungle.
The visualization of the ex-railway yard Farini is predominated by the immense lawn, surrounded by the alleys of trees, small woods, the concrete concentrated in the skyscrapers located along the border.
Stefano Boeri, architect and urban planner says he was inspired by the infinite lawn that Fulvio Scaparro wanted for the milanese children: Aulì Ulè, that green space of 2 ha, all for themselves that today exists in the angle of Idroscalo. “Why not replicate it, at Farini, in the city center?”
