China welcomes the Nanjing Vertical Forest by Stefano Boeri Architetti. The main Chinese Tv channel CCTV interviewed the architect Stefano Boeri.
“We started to think about buildings not clad with minerals, but covered by lives – explained Stefano Boeri to the journalist – Cities are growing everywhere: in 2020, 70% of people are planning to live there. (…) Cities are context for the life of different species, we are not the lords of everything. I think we should work on how to imagine a better cohabitation with other species“.
