SBA BRINGS TO PARIS THE EXPERIENCE OF BOSCO VERTICALE AND THE PROJECT OF A “FOREST CITY” IN CHINAMonday, December 7, Stefano Boeri will be among the speakers at the International Conference on Climate Cop21 currently going in Paris, under an appointment organized by the Italian government delegation.
At 15:00 in the EU pavilion during the meeting entitled “From Paris to Milan: the challenge of environmental and agricultural sustainability”, Stefano Boeri was called to recount the experience of the Vertical Forest in Milan, as a symbol of protection and conservation of biodiversity in the city an experiment that has recorded positive results in the reduction of air dust and CO2 in the city center.
During the meeting it will be presented the project commissioned to SBA by the Municipality of Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei, and the most polluted city in China, to build a green and sustainable city of 100,000 inhabitants.Stefano Boeri: “The challenge that we have accepted, is to design the prototype of a real forest City, which reflects and multiplies the prototype of the Vertical Forest. A small vertical town of public residences and private buildings, offices, laboratories, museums, schools, etc, completely enveloped by millions of leaves of plants, trees and lawns.”
