On Saturday, November 17th, at 6.30 pm at Saletta Lab of Triennale Design Museum Stefano Boeri will participate to the discussion about the Chinatowns around the world, from Italy to the United States, organized within Bookcity Festival.
Starting from the history of the Chinese community in Milan, the meeting promises to be an opportunity to explore the multicultural dimension of European and American Chinatowns: from Milan to London and from San Francisco to New York. The story of individuals, inserted within the broader historical-political framework, shows how our “city / world” is the result of long maturation and integration processes. Besides Arch. Boeri the discussion will involve Carlo Berizzi, Cjai Rocchi, Matteo Demonte, Giada Peterle, Francesco Boggio Ferraris, Bianca Aravecchia. Moderator Marco Del Corona.
