Wednesday, December 18, Stefano Boeri participates in the presentation of the book “At the Foot of Laga“, a collection of 18 essays on the theme of recovered cultural heritage following the Amatrice-Accumuli earthquake. The presence of the architect shows the interest of the Stefano Boeri Architetti studio for post-earthquake reconstruction and protection of the territory and its fragility, seeing as main characters the projects of the Amatrice Food Area and the House of the Future, the Multipurpose and Civil Protection Center of Norcia and the task of drafting the implementation plan for the post-earthquake reconstruction in Castelsantangelo, Macerata.
The volume signed by the Varrone Foundation, published by Electa, is dedicated to the local sacred art, recovered following the dramatic seismic sequence of 2016/2017 and consists of two parts: “Memories, art and devotion”, or a historical recognition of the territory , and a second part entitled “From the ruins to the light”, dedicated to reconstruction. The writing is the first piece of a larger project that involves the opening of a restoration laboratory in the main square of Rieti, followed by an exhibition of completed works.
