The petition requesting the release of the Multipurpose and Civil Protection Centre is online.
An appeal to sign, posted on Avaaz, was launched by Emilio Battisti, professor at Politecnico of Milan, who states that his initiative isn’t motivated by the friendship with the architect Stefano Boeri, but is born out of “try to overtake this paradox”, this legislative impasse that sometimes throws back against the common good.
“When we reach one thousand of signatures – he explains – i plan to get in contact with the municipality and maybe with Umbria Region in order to consolidate the expression of interest that many italians show for the case through this subscription“.
The primary goal is to reopen the Centre for the community, in order to make sure that the activities of the City Council keep going, as well as meetings, cultural and social activities of the community of Norcia.
