Pavia opens its most prestigious gardens with ‘Horti Aperti,‘ the month-long Festival del Verde – from Sept. 14 to Oct. 15. On Friday, September 16, at 5:30 p.m. Stefano Boeri, as chairman of the scientific committee of Forestami – a project that aims to plant 3 million trees in the municipality of Milan by 2030 – will participate with an online talk themed ‘A tree for every citizen,’ following the reflections and visions of urban forestation that characterize his work.
The locations of ‘Horti Aperti’ are the University’s Botanical Garden, founded 249 years ago, the Horti of the Borromeo College (there will be a public opening on Saturday 17) and the University Library.
