Designboom presents the project by Stefano Boeri Architetti for the first Smart Forest City, planned to host 130,000 inhabitants and 7,500,000 plants, capable of absorbing more than 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide and storing more than 5,000.
The city, located in Cancun, Mexico, is equipped to be completely self-sufficient in terms of food and energy and designed with a state-of-the-art transportation system that includes an electric and semi-automatic internal mobility.
