Cose di Casa magazine dedicates an article to the role of architecture with respect to climate change and the methods of adaptation in urban planning to induce a change of course, in the context of Let’s Talk Architecture and Climate Adaption, the series of meetings organised by the Danish Embassy and the Danish Architecture Centre (Dansk Arkitektur Center).
Let’s Talk Architecture involves a cycle of international meetings, from New York to Berlin. The Milan event saw the participation of Danish and Italian architecture firms, including Stefano Boeri Architetti. Paolo Russo, project leader of Stefano Boeri Architetti, presented the Trudo Vertical Forest project as a virtuous example of vertical urban forestation in which the social component plays a fundamental role, as it is the first model of vertical forest dedicated to social housing, combining the great challenge of the environmental crisis with the urgent need for accessible housing in contemporary cities.
