Inside the newspaper La Repubblica, in the section dedicated to the city of Milan, an article by Miriam Romano celebrates the eighth anniversary of the Bosco Verticale in Milan, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti in the Porta Nuova area.
The article focuses on the project’s influence on Milanese culture and beyond: inaugurated on the 14th of October 2014, in just eight years the Bosco Verticale, with its 800 trees, 15,000 perennials and ground cover plants and 5,000 shrubs, has become not only an architectural icon, but also a popular one, appearing in film sets and TV series, and being mentioned in comics and songs.
