In Il Resto del Carlino, scenarios and future transformations of the area around Riccione’s Viale Ceccarini are analysed. Among the guidelines for the area’s regeneration, the Ceccarini Green Energy District project is described, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti with the collaboration of MATE Soc. Cooperativa and Studio Silvia for the Emilian municipality.
The Ceccarini Green Energy District proposes a new vision structured according to five major objectives related to urban ecology, sustainable mobility, the use of renewable energy, Urban Forestry and civic quality, while respecting the existing architecture and the design of public spaces.
