The 2019 edition of the Triennale – curated by Paola Antonelli, responsible for Architecture and Design at the New York Museum of Modern Art – which wants to deal with the tangible effects of architecture and design, addressing the practice towards a modus operandi which is respectful of the systems where humans live and operate.
On 2018 June 19th Broken Nature, Design takes on Human Survival has offered an occasion to discuss the themes which will be the focus of the next Triennale from March to September 2018. During the introduction Stefano Boeri, President of La Triennale, underlined the necessity “of giving back what we took from the Nature”, “in order to encourage a multiple reading of the problems that threaten the collective existence”.
