From April 7 to 13, during Milan Design Week 2025, visitors can explore All the feels, within an evolving landscape, a project by Iranian-American photographer Ramak Fazel for Volvo Studio Milano, curated by Viasaterna in collaboration with the Fondazione Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano Onlus and Portanuova – the installation includes a scale model of Bosco Verticale (Boeri Studio).

This temporary public environmental installation and exhibition, located in the heart of Portanuova, features five aluminum viewfinders focused on five architectural subjects: the UniCredit Tower, Bosco Verticale, Biblioteca degli Alberi, Palazzo Lombardia, and the Church of San Gioachimo.

The visual space also functions as a mental map, thanks to a series of plastic models of the selected landmarks, designed to be experienced not only through sight but also through touch—making the installation accessible to both sighted and visually impaired individuals. Informational panels describing the five models—curated by architectural historian Maria Vittoria Capitanucci—include texts in braille and large print, and are located in Piazza Alvar Aalto, inviting the public to reinterpret and experience this part of the city in a participatory and inclusive way.

With this work, Fazel offers an alternative and alternating vision not only of the city itself but of the ways in which we inhabit and perceive spaces.
