From 26 – 28 November takes place About a City, the festival of the Cities and Urban Transformations Observatory of Fondazione G. Feltrinelli, where Stefano Boeri is part of the scientific committee.
The seventh edition of the festival on urban transformations looks at which movements and which forces, even conflicting ones, cross and ‘use’ the contemporary metropolis.
The event focuses on the continuous evolution and ever-increasing speed of cities, questioning who cities really are for, and what the effects of these dynamics are on social and community relations.
Stefano Boeri, part of the scientific committee of the About a City festival, contributes to the debates alongside some of the expert voices at a national and international level on ten issues that characterise our urban contexts today: Active City, Commodity City, Selfie City, House City, Boundary City, Decomposed City, Avant-garde City, Capital City, Plural City and Imagined City.
Participating in this event are: Eraldo Affinati, Teresa Agovino, Alessandro Balducci, Guido Bardelli, Martina Bovo, Massimo Bricocoli, Ada Colau, Marianna D’Ovidio, Mona Fawaz, Valeria Fedeli, Yuri Kazepov, Sara Lemlem, Matteo Lepore, Annalisa Metta, Luca Molinari, Tomaso Montanari, Giampaolo Nuvolati, Andrew O’Hagan, Gaia Vince, Fatima Ouassak, Carolina Pacchi, Segolene Pruvot, Gaia Romani, Vanessa Rosa, Cristina Tajani, Federica Verona, Tommaso Vitale, Tarek Virani.
