On Friday, June 14, the event Energy Efficiency and Quality of Living in Buildings is held at the Royal Danish Embassy in Rome, with Stefano Boeri participating as a keynote speaker.
The Embassy works to promote Danish interests in Italy and to maintain the strong bilateral relationship between Denmark and Italy. The Embassy also houses the Permanent Representation of Denmark to FAO, WFP, and IFAD. Equally significant in spreading awareness of Danish culture are the Venice Biennales, internationally recognized in the fields of architecture, art, and cinema. Each year, Denmark curates architecture and art exhibitions in the permanent Danish pavilion.
The event will open at 6:00 PM with a welcome address by H.E. Ambassador of Denmark Anders Carsten Damsgaard, followed by a presentation by Stefano Boeri on sustainable design in architecture, showcasing some of the most significant projects by Stefano Boeri Architetti, starting with the Vertical Forest in Milan, conceived by Boeri Studio, and including the latest interpretations of the typology.
The presentation will also focus on projects and visions for the city of Rome related to energy efficiency, quality of living, the healthiness of spaces, and the importance of residents’ well-being.
